Blessed Sacrament Parish School is a family
community and the role of the parent is central to our educational model.
Parent involvement, both as primary educator and as a model citizen in our
community is critical to our success. Besides, we just have a lot of fun!!!

PARENT TEACHER GROUP (PTG)
Community service is a way of
life at our school. Every family is expected to give service hours and
we have many opportunities to contribute. Our Parent-Teacher Group is
a vibrant organization that provides over 10,000 hours of service and
$50,000 in funding to the school. Their major fund-raising activities
include a Fall Festival, a Golf Tournament, and Scrip. They also
support school activities such as Grandparents Day, Graduation, New Family
Orientation, Uniforms, Parish Coffee & Donuts, and Athletics. Every parent
and teacher at Blessed Sacrament is automatically enrolled as a PTG member.
The PTG Board meets monthly and
the entire PTG meets five times across the school year. |

SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD (SAB)
The School Advisory Board was
established to support the Principal in formulating strategic plans and
policy for the school. This group is composed of members from our
parent, community, parish and faculty population who provide advice and
professional expertise. The Board has been instrumental in creating a
strategic plan, reviewing school budget initiatives, and creating marketing
programs over its six years. |
